There is a part of our crown that was soft when we were a child. By placing attention on this place we rest our attention at the crown of silence. It is at a chakra level, the chakra level that is one higher than the one that sits within the mind and vision. To reach it is to allow our attention to merge with our inner silence. Because it is higher and thus more subtle than the chakra below it the qualities of it are subtle than that of thought and vision. There is no visualisation or thought structure to reach this centre as all of those layers are still bound in energy to the chakra below it. Many people are almost scared to let go of thinking. By placing the attention on this centre we can bring or attention to rest and await the arival of the Tao, which lifts it through this gate of silence. It is also a little like threading something, and that threading is a completion made at the crown of your being making true inner-connectivity.
