What do you do in the day

In the day I work in a Shopping Centre in the town I live in. The centre has been undergoing construction for a while now and is about to open about 3 times the size of what it was. We have many new staff starting on Monday and the Centre will open on the 13th March 08.

The link is as above. I wouldn't mind relating this aspect of my life here as it is quite a large portion of my waking life. My role is that I am in the Company of who provide the services. These services are Cleaning, Security, Customer Services and maintenance. I am the holder if you like of the information and have been reforming its structure to include the new site. I am largely Administration-based in my role but am there is a lot of HR in it, recruitment, and support of the services. I work under the Services Manager and the line of work is known as Facilities Management.




The company I work for is call OCS, which means one complete solution. The idea is that rather than having lots of subcontractors the company aims to provide all the sevices to the client.
